Shipping Information

Chocolates will be shipped within 24 to 48 hours after receiving your order. Orders placed during a busy holiday season may take up to 5 days to process. Please notify us if there is an urgency. All orders are packed in insulated boxes with gel packs to keep the chocolates fresh and from melting.

It is important to Laurent Vals Handcrafted Chocolates that your chocolates arrive in pristine condition. If an order is received after 10:00 am on a Wednesday and not sent via USPS Express mail, the order will ship the following Monday. Should you desire that your package be sent over the weekend, please indicate so in the Special Instructions section on the checkout page. Laurent Vals Handcrafted Chocolates cannot be responsible for chocolates that do not arrive in perfect condition due to prolonged transit times over the weekend.

Due to the delicacy of our handcrafted chocolates, a signature will be required on receipt of a package. Please ensure that someone will be available to sign for the chocolates, or, if they are sent to an office or business, that there will not be an unforeseen closure due to holidays or other circumstances. Laurent Vals Handcrafted Chocolates will not be responsible if a package is returned as undeliverable. The customer will assume additional shipping charges should a second shipment be required.

We ship using the United States Postal Service.

· EXPRESS MAIL (overnight) - RECOMMENDED all year around
· PRIORITY MAIL (2 - 5 days) - Available ONLY from November 1st to May 1st
· Free delivery in Newport, RI and to Newport County residents (USA shipments only)

International shipping to Canada and France only:

· PRIORITY MAIL INTERNATIONAL FLAT RATE SHIPPING BOX (3-6 days)
